Happy Sun Day! It's the beginning of the week we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Sun Ra's arrival on the planet - May 22, 1914 - as well as Marshall Allen's birthday 10 years and 3 days later on May 25th, 1924.

Marshall will be turning 90 years old this year, and we offer our sincere appreciation to him for the better world he has created through his music.
